Yes! The Union for Reform Judaism is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We'll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.

Q: How do I make a gift by phone or mail?

Q: How do I make a gift of security funds, mutual funds, or stock?

Please contact our donor relations team at 212-650-4140 for information on making gifts of mutual fund shares, stock, or securities before initiating your transfer. The URJ must be notified of asset transfers in order to credit gifts to you.

Q: How do I give by a donor-advised fund?

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving program that allows you to combine the most favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to support the organizations you value. You may recommend grants to the URJ directly from your DAF.
