Tikkun Olam 5K
At URJ 6 Points Sports Academy, becoming better athletes and Jews means actively supporting our communities. During the second Shabbat of each session, our Tikkun Olam (Repair the World) 5K and Day of Service help us support our local and global community.
This summer, we're proudly partnering again with Eblen Charities to support our local community and creating a partnership with Israel ParaSport Center to support global athletes. Make a donation of $36+ to receive a T-Shirt; sponsor this initiative at $1,800+.

Campers who purchase a shirt will receive it at camp. Non-attendees will have shirts mailed to them.

This summer, we're proudly partnering with Eblen Charities and Israel Parasports Center.

Over the last few years, 6 Points Sports Academy has created an ongoing partnership with Eblen Charities to support the local Asheville community. Especially after Hurricane Helene, we worked alongside Eblen to identify and support needs in the local community.
Eblen Charities has identified backpacks filled with school essentials and daily necessity items as their greatest need. During our Day of Service we will pack and donate backpacks and hygiene kits to help support local communities in need. With your support, we can provide these crucial supplies, helping local families prepare for the school year.
This year, we are partnering with Israel ParaSport Center who "harness the power of adaptive sports to transform lives." Israel ParaSports Center creates a community where people with physical disabilities gain confidence and success in life through competitive parasports.
Israel ParaSport Center will provide our community with education on adaptive sports and the parasport community. Additionally, during our day of service, campers will make letters and cards to send to para athletes encouraging them in their sports. During session two, our CITs will get the opportunity to further learn about and experience parasports. The CITs will have the opportunity to learn and experience what it is like to play parasports through the Charlotte Rollin Hornets coordinated through Israel ParaSports Center.
You can also support our own Earl Ferguson Scholarship Fund, ensuring financial barriers never prevent youth athletes from experiencing 6 Points Sports Academy.
Our camp community is committed to teaching and modeling Kindness in Action—repairing the world together, one run at a time!
We're seeking six generous sponsors to make a meaningful difference through our 2026 Tikkun Olam Project.
